Bitdeer AI, the AI neocloud service provider and preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner operating under Bitdeer Technologies Group (NASDAQ: BTDR), has entered into a 10-year data center services agreement for A901, a 67MW AI Cloud data center campus in Malaysia, the company announced on Thursday. The deal marks a significant expansion of the company's AI infrastructure footprint in Southeast Asia, where demand for high-density, liquid-cooled computing capacity is outpacing available supply.
A901 will become Bitdeer AI's third Malaysian hub, joining existing facilities in Cyberjaya and Johor. The campus is being engineered specifically for liquid-cooled, rack-scale NVIDIA GB300 NVL72 systems designed to serve next-generation enterprise AI workloads. Delivery of A901 capacity is targeted to commence in the first quarter of 2027, with the full 67MW expected to be delivered by the second quarter of 2027. All megawatt figures refer to critical IT load.
With the addition of the A901 campus, Bitdeer AI's secured AI Cloud data center capacity — defined as capacity owned or under an executed data center services agreement — now totals approximately 273.5MW across facilities in Malaysia, Norway and the United States. This represents roughly 78% of the company's target of up to 350MW to be delivered by the first quarter of 2028. The company also disclosed that its active pipeline for AI Cloud capacity is now estimated to exceed $10 billion, reflecting strong demand for uncontracted capacity across its sites. Contract value per megawatt varies based on service mix, contract duration and site location.
"Demand for liquid-cooled, rack-scale AI capacity in Southeast Asia is running ahead of what the market can deliver, and customers are asking for it earlier and in larger blocks," said Michael G. Potter, Chief Financial Officer of Bitdeer Technologies Group. "A901 adds 67MW in a third Malaysian location, which widens the set of sites and delivery dates we can put in front of a customer. With this facility, our secured AI Cloud data center capacity stands at approximately 273.5MW, or approximately 78% of our up-to-350MW target."
The agreement underscores the broader industry trend of AI cloud providers racing to lock in power and data center capacity across multiple geographies to meet accelerating enterprise demand for GPU-accelerated computing. Southeast Asia has emerged as a key battleground for AI infrastructure investment, with Malaysia in particular attracting significant data center development activity. Bitdeer AI's ability to secure a third site in the country signals both the scale of customer demand and the company's strategy of diversifying delivery locations to offer customers greater flexibility in timing and site selection.
Bitdeer AI, headquartered in Singapore, operates GPU Cloud, Model Studio and AI Agent Builder services supported by Bitdeer Technologies Group's global data center network spanning the United States, Norway, Bhutan, Canada and Malaysia. The company positions itself as a preferred NVIDIA Cloud Partner delivering full-stack AI solutions to simplify and scale intelligent computing infrastructure.
