After the China National Holiday, The Qinggyang Municipal node (Gansu Province) of “Eastern Data Western Computing” got positive news regarding the financial support and the land used for construction projects.
On October 9, the land for the demonstration project of the "Eastern Data and Western Computing" source⁃grid⁃load⁃storage integration smart zero-carbon big data industrial park in Qingyang, Gansu Province was approved.
The project, declared by China Energy Construction Green Digital Technology (Qingyang) Co., Ltd., is located on the south side of the intersection of Anding East Road and Xueyuan Road, Xifeng District, Qingyang City, with a total land area of 73,510.43 square meters (110.27 acres).
On October 12, the Agricultural Development Bank of China issued a single policy development financial instrument (fund) of RMB 771.9 million to support the infrastructure of the National Data Center Cluster (Qingyang, Gansu) "Eastern Data and Western Computing" Industrial Park Project construction.
It is understood that the fund invested by the Agricultural Development Bank will be mainly used for the construction of roads, comprehensive pipelines, power facilities, water supply and drainage, thermal engineering, gas pipeline network engineering, and green sponge engineering in the industrial park of “Eastern Data and Western Computing” to promote industrial development. The construction of the infrastructure of the park will be accelerated, and the supporting service functions and carrying capacity of the park will be improved.
The National Data Center Cluster (Gansu·Qingyang) "East Data and Western Computing" Industrial Park is an important carrier for the construction of Gansu nodes and Qingyang data center clusters, the national hub of the national integrated computing power network. The park is planned to cover an area of 17,000 mu. In accordance with the concept of "industry-city integration, integrated layout, green and low-carbon", it is deploying 6 functional blocks in the district, which are the hub resource scheduling zone, digital economy talent training base, comprehensive supporting zone, intelligent computing zone and intelligent production zone.
At present, preliminary work such as site selection, on-site surveying and mapping, conceptual planning, industrial planning preparation, application for approval of project land in the start-up area, land acquisition and demolition have been completed. Enterprise projects such as China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, China Energy Construction, and Chindata have successively landed in the park.
