Digital Nasional Berhad (DNB), responsible for Malaysia’s 5G single large network project, said in a statement that according to the agreement, Ericsson will be responsible for the end-to-end development of Malaysia’s 5G network. The total cost of this network is 11 billion ringgits ($2.65 billion).
DNB said that this includes core networks, RAN and transmission networks, OSS/BSS and management systems, as well as supporting the development and participation of local suppliers.
