To implement"Notice of development planning on the new generation artificial intelligence"(National[2017]No.35)issued by the Chinese State Council,and“the guideline on promoting the development of Internet plus medical health"issued by the General Office of the State Council(the General Office[2018]No.26),promote medical artificial intelligence development and international exchanges and cooperation,explore artificial intelligence to alleviate the inadequate and imbalanced development of the medical health care industry globally,the"2019 Artificial Intelligence for Health Summit"is scheduled to be held in Shanghai Expo Center from April 1 to 5,2019,with a very high specification summit on the first day,and parallel sub-forums(related to healthcare robots,5G,App,wearables,etc)and exhibitions in following 4 days.The 4th workshop and meeting of the Focus Group on AI for Health will also be hold on the same period.

1.Exchange on international development trend:

International Telecommunication Union(ITU),World Health Organization(WHO)and overseas experts and scholars will introduce the development trend of global medical artificial intelligence;

2.Authoritative interpretation on regulation:Officials from MIIT,NHC and NMPA will interpret the relevant regulatory policies on new technologies and applications related to AI for health;

3.Launch of the Shanghai Declaration

To announce China's determination to contribute to the development of AI for health,the Shanghai declaration will be launched under the witness of the ITU,WHO,MIIT,NHC and NMPA;

4.Releasing a series of research reports:

A series of research reports including"Biotechnology Industry White Paper 2019","Mobile Health APP Development Report 2019"will be released,moreover,the credibility assessments on medical cloud computing and remote medical products will be released too;

5.Exhibition on AI for health products:

An exhibition displaying the latest developments in AI technologies and application for healthcare will also be showcased in the same period.

Expected scene

The 2019 Artificial Intelligence for Health Summit is to provide a platform for researchers,engineers,practitioners,entrepreneurs and policy makers to discuss industrial development of AI for health.The summit is expected to have at least 2000 participants,and representatives from over 300 companies are expected to attend the series activities during the summit.
