On December 27th,Guo Ping,the rotating chairman of Huawei,delivered a New Year's speech of 2019 entitled"The nurse of greatness upon difficulties and hardships".In his speech,Guo revealed that in 2018,the company expects to achieve sales revenue of$108.5 billion,up 21%from a year earlier.
Guo said Huawei has signed 26 commercial 5G contracts with operators,and more than 10,000 5G base stations have been shipped around the world.More than 160 cities in the world,211 of the world's top 500 enterprises,had chosen Huawei as its digital transformation partner;More than 200 million smart phones have been shipped,and the PC business and IoT smart home ecosystem have also made gratifying breakthroughs.Huawei Cloud has launched more than 140 cloud services in 18 categories.
For personnel management,Guo addressed to avoid the mediocre cadre team,to avoid Huawei into a mediocre company.To strive for this,everyone is equal before contribution.
Guo replied that Huawei would respond to the uncertainty of international politics with the certainty of legal compliance."It is not the vicious events and setbacks of one moment that detract from our world-leading spirit.We are going to get stronger and stronger.Instead,these extreme unfair events have pushed us to the top of the world."After 30 years of accumulation,Huawei is bound to make great achievements,and so is every employee of ours,"Guo said.
