Recently, the "Fourteenth Five-Year" Big Data Center Development Plan in Yunnan Province (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan") was officially released. The "Planning" proposes that by 2025, the province's data center carrying capacity will reach more than 100,000 standard racks, and more than 10 industry-level big data centers will be built, and the overall layout of "gathering in central Yunnan, breakthroughs in western Yunnan, and global collaboration" will be generally realized.
The "Plan" is divided into 6 parts, which clarifies the overall planning and optimization of data center construction layout, cultivating big data applications and industrial ecology, etc. The planning period is from 2021 to 2025. The "Plan" clearly defines the development position of Yunnan's digital industrialization growth pole, regional integration big data center new heights, and radiating South Asia and Southeast Asia as a strong engine for big data empowerment, and basically forming a scientific layout, green and low-carbon, industrial agglomeration, and standardized development. The integrated development pattern of big data centers fully supports the construction of "Digital Yunnan" and promotes the high-quality economic development of our province.

It activates the core value of data elements, and expand the openness of data center areas cooperation to cultivate a big data industry ecology with Yunnan characteristics, aiming at building Yunnan into a pioneering demonstration area of digital economy in South Asia and Southeast Asia.
