It is reported that the Tencent’s Greater Bay Area Industrial Internet Base project will adopt the "base + operation" model to build a series of functional centers such as data center, operation service center, training service center, smart manufacturing double innovation center, financial service center, smart manufacturing integration display center, and business center, and simultaneously carry out the construction of ecological parks to attract industrial Internet innovation companies, Tencent ecological enterprises and consulting agencies to settle in, gather high-quality resources and talents in the industry, and promote the integrated development of industry, learning and research to help regional industries upgrade.
In addition, Tencent Cloud will also build an industrial Internet big data center to provide government, parks, enterprises, investment institutions and other users with innovative services such as industry insights, decision-making assistance, and investment promotion through industrial big data analysis to help data governance. Guangdong Beiming Shuke Greater Bay Digital Technology Co Ltd (广东北明数科湾区数字技术有限公司）is responsible for the construction and operation of the Tencent's Greater Bay Area base of Industrial Internet.
In addition to Tencent, JD.com also uses Foshan as an industrial Internet center in the Greater Bay Area. During the event of the day, JD Zhilian Cloud (Foshan) Digital Economy Industrial Park and JD Zhilian Cloud Greater Bay Area Industrial Operation Center also officially opened.
In August of this year, JD Group used JD Zhilian Cloud as a window to sign a cooperation project with the Nanhai District for the JD Zhilian Cloud Greater Bay Area Industrial Operation Center. In November this year, JD (Guangdong) Cloud Computing Co Ltd officially settled in Nanhai. "We will deeply integrate with the local smart home, textile and other industries, and rely on JD.com's technology and resources in cloud computing, big data, artificial intelligence, etc., to promote the intelligent and digital transformation of the advanced manufacturing industry in Nanhai District.” DONG Zheng, general manager of Jingdong Zhilianyun Guangdong Province, said.
Industrial Internet gaints are continuously launching base in the Greater Bay Area is inseparable from relevant local support and policies.
In recent years, Foshan City, a major manufacturing town in the Pearl River Delta, has seized the opportunity of industrial Internet development and vigorously created a demonstration zone for innovative applications of industrial Internet in Guangdong Province. In June last year, Nanhai District, Foshan City, where the industrial Internet base is located, introduced the "Tengyun Plan" based on the strong demand for manufacturing transformation and upgrading. In March this year, Nanhai District also issued the "Support Measures for the Development of the Industrial Internet Industry in Nanhai District, Foshan City", which promotes the rapid development of the industrial Internet industry in Nanhai District.
At present, Nanhai has gathered industrial Internet service providers such as China Telecom, China Mobile, China Unicom, Tencent Cloud, JD Zhilian Cloud, and Huawei to root.
