Singapore – April 25, 2025 – The China-Southeast Asia Digital Infrastructure Cooperation Forum successfully convened on April 23, 2025, at the Marina Bay Sands in Singapore. Origanized by the Beijing International Service Trade Center and the Digital Infrastructure Technical Council (DITC), and co-organized by Beijing Capital Group Exhibitions & Events(BCGEE) and China IDC Review (IDCNOVA), the forum brought together industry leaders from Southeast Asia to explore cutting-edge trends and collaborative opportunities within the digital infrastructure sector.
Held concurrently with the globally renowned GITEX Asia exhibition, the forum was a significant component of 2025 China International Fair for Trade in Services (CIFTIS) Singapore Overseas Roadshow.
The event commenced with insightful opening remarks from Mr. Yin Liang, Deputy Director of Beijing International Trade in Services Center, and Mr. Huang Chao, Executive Chairman of DITC China,Founder & CEO of IDCNOVA.
Mr. Yin highlighted the resilience and potential of China's economy and Beijing's commitment to opening up its service sector, inviting attendees to the upcoming CIFTIS in Beijing this September. Mr. Huang emphasized DITC's "Technology as Bridge, Ecosystem as Boat" philosophy, pointing to Southeast Asia's burgeoning digital economy and the critical need for ecosystem co-construction and localized practices to translate the current investment surge into tangible industry upgrades. He introduced the forum's central theme: "Investment, Technology, Sustainability."

Carol Lin, Vice President of Zhipu AI, focused on "China Digital Going-Global: The Development and Prospects of Zhipu in Agentic AI." She detailed the advancements in AI Agents, showcased Zhipu AI's innovative products and flexible deployment models, and called for the establishment of joint labs and innovation centers to collectively propel the AI industry forward.
Tony Song(Yingqian Song), Chief Integrated Solutions Officer Midea, delivered a technical presentation on "Diverse & Efficient cooling solutions for green data centers." He outlined the core requirements of modern data centers—high reliability, energy efficiency, phased prefabricated delivery, and optimal airflow—and presented Midea's comprehensive cooling solutions, including air-cooled, water-cooled systems (with optional Free Cooling), precision air conditioners, and modular delivery capabilities, validated by successful project case studies and PUE results.
Ted Ding(Ding Mingjie), Tencent Cloud Principal Solution Architect, spoke on "Unleash Cloud Momentum: Accelerating Industrial DX through Intelligent Evolution." He elaborated on Tencent's proprietary cloud intelligent computing suite architecture, explaining how advanced software empowers hardware through full-stack optimization and resource integration to deliver enhanced value across various scenarios, citing the intelligent computing cluster in Qingyang City, Gansu Province, as an example of Tencent Cloud's capabilities.

A dynamic workshop session, moderated by Angela Wang, Director of INF AI, addressed the theme: "Focusing on Ecosystem Building and Local Practices: How Can the Investment Boom and Transnational Layout Accelerate the Industrial Reconstruction in Southeast Asia? " Esteemed panelists included:

They explored strategies for both Southeast Asian enterprises and multinational corporations, particularly Chinese firms expanding overseas, to build cross-cultural market competitiveness through ecosystem development, local team building, strategic partnerships, and the implementation of cutting-edge technologies, thereby paving a win-win path for regional synergistic development.
• Charting the Course for Future Cooperation and Development:
The China-Southeast Asia Digital Infrastructure Cooperation Forum successfully established an important platform for dialogue and partnership. Through insightful presentations and in-depth discussions, participants gained a deeper understanding of digital infrastructure trends and identified clear directions for future collaboration. Grounded in the principle of ecosystem co-construction, the cooperation between China and Southeast Asia in digital infrastructure is set to deepen, providing strong impetus for the region's thriving digital economy and ushering in a new era of digital development.
This forum also marks the beginning of a series of initiatives focused on the overseas expansion of China's digital industry into Southeast Asia. Following this event, the "High-quality Development of Global Digital Infrastructure-Middle East Station ," a deep-dive exchange program organized by the China IDC Review Enterprise Club, is scheduled (April 22-29, 2025) to visit computing industry institutions and enterprises in Malaysia and Indonesia, further exploring the vast opportunities within Southeast Asia's digital infrastructure landscape.
