BDx launches data center campus in Jatiluhur, Indonesia

BDx Indonesia has launched a new data center campus in Jatiluhur, Indonesia.

The company – a joint venture of BDx Data Centers, Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison, and

Lintasarta – this week announced the Phase-1 completion of its CGK4 data center

campus in Jatiluhur, southeast of Jakarta outside Purwakarta.

The company's website suggests the site offers 70MW across 4,150 sqm (44,670 sq

ft) of white space. BDx said the site is scalable up to 500MW and can support up to

120kW per rack.

“BDx Indonesia is committed to enabling Indonesia to become an AI-first nation. We

are the only data center provider in the country offering up to 700MW of

development potential spread across Indonesia," said Mayank Srivastava, CEO of BDx

Data Centers. "We are proud of our partnership with Indosat Ooredoo Hutchison and

Lintasarta in embodying the spirit of Gotong Royong to create a sovereign AI cloud

for Indonesia."

Agus Hartono Wijaya, CEO of BDx Indonesia, added: “With Phase-1 deployed within a

record time of 75 days, BDx Indonesia and its JV partners are fostering an ecosystem

that nurtures innovation to drive Indonesia's digital transformation."

BDx – which is backed by I Squared Capital and operates data centers in mainland

China, Hong Kong, and Singapore, first formed a data center joint venture with

Indosat Ooredoo and Lintasarta in May 2022. The JV acquired a portfolio of data

centers from Indosat earlier this year.

Across Indonesia, the company has four live core campuses and 10 Edge sites live.

Another seven sites are in development.
