NeutraDC Nxera Batam, a data center company, held a piling ceremony at the site of its data center construction situated in the Integrated Industrial Area of Kabil, Batam City. The piling ceremony signifies the initial phase for Telkom Group, through its subsidiary NeutraDC Nxera Batam, to construct a data center with Artificial Intelligence (AI) infrastructure, committed to sustainable development and the utilization of renewable energy sources。
Honesti Basyir, Director of Group Business Development Telkom Group, stated that this event is a significant moment in Telkom Group’s efforts to support digital transformation in Indonesia. “We are proud to see this progressive step. NeutraDC Nxera Batam will be a driver in accelerating technological innovation in Indonesia, especially in the field of AI,” said Honesti Basy。
Similarly, Bogi Witjaksono, Director of Wholesale & International Service Telkom Group, added that the presence of a data center with AI infrastructure will create new opportunities for industries in Indonesia to leverage advanced technology. “We are optimistic that NeutraDC Nxera Batam will become a leading data center providing high-quality services to our clients both domestically and internationally,” explained Bogi Witjaksono.
