Indonesian conglomerate Sinar Mas has selected RISE with SAP to improve its operational efficiencies and tap into emerging technologies including artificial intelligence (AI)
According to the CEO and chairman of both Sinar Mas Agribusiness & Food and its 30 subsidiary Golden Agri-Resources, Franky Widjaja, the move to SAP cloud will ensure that the business can better navigate future challenges and leverage future benefits, such as AI, while contributing to Indonesia’
Previously, Sinar Mas was reliant on an on-premises system; the decision to migrate to SAP S/4 HANA Cloud was driven by the need to streamline operations, boost agility, innovate faster and drive scalability

SAP SE chief revenue officer Scott Russell said this is a prime example of how Asia’s leading companies are leveraging the cloud to build resilience and agility in today’s dynamic market。
