Recently, China Telecom's Yangtze River Delta National Hub Jiaxing Computing Power Center project signed a contract to settle in the Zhongxin - Jiashan Modern Industrial Park (中新嘉善现代产业园).
The total investment of the project exceeds 5 billion yuan. As a national high-energy level computing power dispatching center and the core node of the Yangtze River Delta computing power hub, it aims to build a national demonstration project of "Eastern Data and Western Computing". The project construction covers industrial Internet and IT equipment manufacturing , artificial intelligence and other whole industry chains.
As part of the construction of the national computing power hub node in the Yangtze River Delta, the development pattern of "integrated coordination and radiating the whole domain" of regional computing power resources has been established. For example, China Mobile's Yangtze River Delta (Suzhou) Cloud Computing Center is located in Wujiang, with an estimated total investment of 5 billion yuan and a planned area of 206 mu. China Telecom invested 10 billion yuan to build the third phase of Wuhu Big Data Industrial Park, and will jointly create "Wuhu People's City Cloud" based on Tianyi Cloud (天翼云) (National Cloud) to improve the Wuhu Data Center, in order to improve the digital infrastructure of the Wuhu data center cluster of the Yangtze River Delta hub node of the national integrated computing power network, and enhance cross-network capabilities
Buildings 5 and 7 of the Nanjing Base Project of the National Advanced Computing Industry Innovation Center in Nanjing are positioned as green data centers, with 3,500 planned and designed standard cabinets. Among them, the "Nanjing Kunpeng Shengteng Artificial Intelligence Computing Center (南京鲲鹏昇腾人工智能计算中心)", which was first built and put into use, is located in Building 5. It is the first artificial intelligence computing center based on domestic technology in the Yangtze River Delta region.
In addition, a number of integrated data center cluster projects in the Yangtze River Delta have also been collectively signed before. The projects include China Telecom’s Yangtze River Delta National Hub Node Computing Power Dispatch Platform and Direct Connection Network Construction Project, China Mobile Yangtze River Delta (Shanghai) 6 key points including 5G Ecological Valley Data Center, Youkede Qingpu Data Center, China Mobile Yangtze River Delta (Suzhou) Cloud Computing Center, China Telecom Yangtze River Delta Integrated Computing Hub (Wujiang Node) Project, and Alibaba Yangtze River Delta Intelligent Computing Base. The 6 projects involves a total investment of more than 23 billion yuan. It is estimated that the total rack size of the data center will reach 100,000 after completion.
It can be seen that the Yangtze River Delta region has introduced a series of policies to promote the construction of hub nodes, and many large-scale projects have been implemented. The construction process of the Yangtze River Delta hub is accelerating in an orderly manner, which will effectively promote the improvement of computing power and computing efficiency and to accelerate the transformation and development of the Yangtze River Delta and even China’s digital economy.
