A few days ago, the concrete pouring of the data center in Area B of China Telecom Cloud Computing Inner Mongolia Information Industrial Park was completed, and the project was officially topped out.
The construction content of the project in Area B includes 2 data centers, 1 power center and supporting outdoor projects, with a construction area of about 45,000 square meters. The project is constructed by the Inner Mongolia Branch of China Construction Third Engineering Bureau and will start on June 7, 2022.
The China Telecom Cloud Computing Inner Mongolia Information Park, which belongs to Area B, is located in the Inner Mongolia hub and the Linger data center cluster, the national hub of the national integrated computing power network. It is the northern core of China Telecom's cloud computing strategic layout.
According to the relevant information of Tianyi Cloud, China Telecom Cloud Computing Inner Mongolia Information Park has a total investment of nearly 20 billion yuan, a total construction area of 1.006 million square meters, a design capacity of 42 data centers and 19 supporting facilities, which will have more than 100,000 racks after completion. It will be the largest cloud computing information park in China and the largest Internet data exchange center in the Asia-Pacific region.
The information park has now built 8 data centers, and has settled in more than 70 domestic well-known Internet companies, financial and securities companies and other customers. It carrys the cloud computing capacity of 20,000 racks and 270,000 servers.
