On October 1st, the construction ceremony of the major projects in the fourth quarter of 2022 in Jianyang City and the groundbreaking ceremony of Leon Cloud Data (Chengdu Jianyang) No. 1 Project was officially held. Jianyang Municipal officials and directors of Leon Cloud data center attended the construction ceremony.
Leon Cloud Data (Chengdu Jianyang) No. 1 Base Project is a data center-based smart industrial park project. Leon Cloud Data (Sichuan) Co., Ltd., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Leon Technology (stock code 300603), is responsible for investment and construction. The park consists of 4 data center buildings and related auxiliary buildings, with a total construction area of about 90,000 square meters and a planned number of 12,000 racks.
According to the introduction of Chairman WANG Gang, the project is a one-time overall design with a total investment of 5 billion yuan. The third phase will build the Southwest Regional Headquarters of Leon Technologies. The planned construction period of the project is expected to be 48 months, 18 months for the first phase, 15 months for the second phase, and 15 months for the third phase.
After the data center is put into operation, it will directly provide rack leasing services, namely IDC (Internet Data Center Business). MCN enterprises will settle in, attract large and high-quality enterprises to settle down, form an industrial base integrating office, research and development, etc., build a demonstration base project of Chengdu Big Data Supercomputing Center, and establish a smart industrial park mainly based on data centers.
