Recently, the main structure of the first phase project of Sinnet's Tianjin Baodi Cloud Computing Data Center was capped.
The project, invested and constructed by Sinnet, is located in “Beijing-Tianjin Zhongguancun Science and Technology Zone”, Baodi, Tianjin. It is a super-large data center park and is currently the largest data center project by Sinnet.
The Sinnet Tianjin Baodi Cloud Computing Data Center project covers an area of 368 mu and is planned to be constructed in four phases. The construction area of the 084 plot in this phase of the project is about 60,000 square meters, and 5,000 5KW 2N standard cabinets are planned to be built, with a total investment of about 1.08 billion yuan.
In December 2021, the construction of this phase of the project started, and on July 26, 2022, the main body was capped, which lasted 236 days.
According to reports, the Sinnet Baodi Cloud Computing Center project is located in the core area of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei integrated planning, with convenient transportation, excellent natural environment and rich hydropower communication network resources. In the future, the project will form a scale and linkage effect with Sinnet's data centers in Beijing and Yanjiao, and actively undertake the needs of data centers that spill over from Beijing to surrounding areas.
According to the financial report, in addition to the Tianjin Baodi project, Sinnet also launched the Hangzhou Digital Economy Science and Technology Innovation Center project. The project is located in Qiantang New District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, with a total investment of about 3.2 billion yuan. It is planned to build 10,000 6KW 2N standard cabinets. At present, the project has determined the construction site and is in the preparatory work before the start of construction. It is planned to start construction in 2022.
By the end of 2021, Sinnet had more than 100,000 cabinets in operation and reserve projects, more than 43,000 cabinets had been put into production, and the utilization rate exceeded 70%.
