Recently, China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau announced that the Jingzhang’ao project of Alibaba Xuanhua Cloud Computing Data Center, which was built by it, will be topping out 10 days ahead of schedule.
It is understood that Alibaba Xuanhua Cloud Computing Data Center is located in Zhangjiakou City, Hebei Province, a national integrated computing power hub node in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region.
The data center is divided into Jingzhang’ao project and Hezixi project, located in Jingzhangao Park of Xuanhua Economic Development Zone and Hezixi Township of Xuanhua District respectively. The two projects cover a total area of about 900 acres, and the total planned investment of the project is about 7 billion yuan. The construction content mainly includes 22 data center buildings, 22 diesel fuel buildings, 2 ECC buildings for operation and maintenance, and 2 substations. The number of cabinets to be installed is about 35,500 units.
The Jingzhangao project of Alibaba's Xuanhua cloud computing data center was undertaken by China Construction Fourth Engineering Bureau and started construction in October 2021.
As a key project of Zhangjiakou's "new infrastructure", the first phase of the Jingzhangao project covers a total area of 330 acres, of which the total construction area is nearly 180,000 square meters. After completion and commissioning, it will become Alibaba's largest cloud computing infrastructure in North China. Through the introduction of big data, artificial intelligence and other technologies, it will provide stable and efficient cloud platform support for the enterprises in the field of power, steel, transportation, manufacturing and others.
