Recently, the Qingyang cloud computing big data center project of China Telecom Gansu Company officially started construction. The project is located in the National Data Center Cluster (Qingyang, Gansu) "East Data and West Computing" industrial park (国家数据中心集群（甘肃·庆阳）“东数西算”产业园区). It is an important part of the northwest layout of the eight major nodes of the national hub of the national integrated computing power network. The number of the designed racks are 2,000, and at the end of 2023 the first batch rack will be delivered.
It is reported that the project was undertaken by Gansu No.7 Construction Group Co., Ltd. with a total budgeted investment of 447 million yuan. It will construct a 4-storey building with a capacity of 2,000 8KW racks.
The National Data Center Cluster (Qingyang, Gansu) "East Data West Computing" industrial park planning and construction covers an area of 17,766 mu. The park's infrastructure construction project (Phase I) has entered the planning stage, and all relevant departments are in accordance with the "1+1+N" planning system, prepare the overall planning of the park, industrial planning, power grid planning, detailed control planning of the start-up area, as well as road network, pipe gallery (ditch), water supply and drainage, smart energy planning, and achieve integrated planning and mutual matching from the top-level design. , to support the integrated construction of the park.
According to Qingyang's "14th Five-Year" digital economy leading innovation development plan, by the end of 2025, Qingyang National Data Center Cluster will add a total of 300,000 2.5KW standard racks, becoming a leading domestic and provincial-leading data center cluster hub and application innovation center.
