Recently, the second phase of the China Mobile (Luoyang) data center has been completed, and related equipment is being introduced one after another and will be put into use soon.
China Mobile (Luoyang) data center is located in Luolong District. The first phase of the project was completed and put into use in 2016, with a construction area of 8,300 square meters, 899 business cabinets, and an installed capacity of 12,000 servers. So far, Alibaba and Tencent have been introduced as well as JD.com, Jinshan, Qihoo and many other Internet customers, and 200 provincial governments at all levels and customers of enterprises and institutions. It have begun to have influence in the domestic big data industry.
The second phase of the project has a total construction area of 22,200 square meters, with 4,000 cabinets built. It is estimated that the installed capacity will reach 50,000 servers. After completion, it will become the largest big data infrastructure in western Henan.
