A few days ago, China Mobile Yangtze River Delta (Suzhou) Cloud Computing Center Phase II project entered the actual operation stage. After the second phase is put into use, the cloud computing center has 16,700 racks, becoming the largest data center in the Yangtze River Delta region.
China Mobile Yangtze River Delta (Suzhou) Cloud Computing Center is located in Fenhu High-tech Zone, Suzhou City. The project is expected to have a total investment of 5 billion yuan and a planned area of 206 acres. The total plan is 35,000 cabinets, which will be constructed in three phases. The construction area of the first phase is 56,900 square meters, including a total of 5 buildings including supporting buildings, with a total number of racks of about 5,800. The construction area of the second phase is 88,120 square meters, including two computer room buildings. The total number of racks is about 10,900, and the third phase is planned to be 18,000. cabinet.
China Mobile Yangtze River Delta (Suzhou) Cloud Computing Center is the core node of China Mobile's IDC business. The center adopts the industry's latest 1.6T platform cluster router and all-optical cross-transmission equipment, so that the network access delay in southern and southern Jiangsu can be controlled within 3 milliseconds. The network access delay in northern Jiangsu is controlled within 5 milliseconds. The data center has passed the China Mobile IDC computer room rating and was rated as "Diamond Five-Star Data Center".
According to an expert from China Mobile Yangtze River Delta (Suzhou) Cloud Computing Center, "The second phase of the project mainly provides the construction of two data machine buildings and supporting infrastructure, and plans to provide a data scale of over 10,000 racks and a T-level network export. In the future, our computing center will become the largest data center in the Yangtze River Delta region, capable of providing higher-quality network egress and cabinet services."
According to the project plan of "East Data and West Computing", Wujiang District, where the cloud computing center is located, is located in the starting area of the data center cluster in the Yangtze River Delta Integration Demonstration Zone.
After the "East Data and West Computing" project is formed, the center will serve as the "East Data" concentration center for the "East Data and West Computing" project, which can quickly transmit the "East Data" to the "West Computing" center, and the west will complete data processing and computing to help the east and west regions complement each other's advantages and optimize resource allocation.
