GDS's super-large data center park in Johor, Malaysia is the company's first project in Southeast Asia. It will fully apply the company's new generation of Smart DC solutions to achieve prefabricated agile delivery, green and intelligent operations, and will actively introduce local renewable energy. . After completion, the total net computer room area of the park will be about 18,000 square meters, and the total IT capacity will reach 54 MW. The first phase of the project (about 18 MW IT capacity) is expected to be completed in 2024.
As an important part of Malaysia's digital transformation, GDS Johor data center will actively support the local digital strategy and radiate to the entire Southeast Asia region, providing important support for regional ecological construction and coordinated development, and promoting the construction of a new global "digital highland".
