China Guizhou Province strives to reach 17 billion yuan investment in big data investment|Idcnova-Media|the gateway to China data center market

As China first big data comprehensive pilot zone, Guizhou will continue to increase investment this year in order to promote the sound and rapid development of the big data industry.

The reporter learned from the Big Data Development Administration of Guizhou Province on March 31 that the total local investment in the field of big data last year was 15.756 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 7.22%. This year, around the new digital infrastructure, Guizhou proposed to implement a major upgrade of digital facilities, speed up the construction of computing power infrastructure, integration infrastructure, innovation infrastructure, etc., and strive to invest 17 billion yuan in the field of big data throughout the year.

For the above purpose, Guizhou will implement more than 100 key projects. In addition to the completion of the construction, a batch of new digital infrastructure represented by data centers will also be started. The province will also build 25,000 5G base stations, and add 200 5G application scenarios in the fields of industry, education, and medical care.

Data show that as of the end of February this year, all 394 key big data companies included in Guizhou’s statistical monitoring have resumed work and production. The province's investment in the field of big data reached 1.8 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 10.7%, of which the investment mainly came from the infrastructure construction of operators.
