In the past few days, on the construction site of the Wudang Coud Valley Big Data Center project located on the right bank of the Han River in Danjiangkou City, the builders are running at full speed and advancing rapidly according to the construction time schedule. At present, the No. 2 data center has successfully completed the roof-topping works. This means that the construction of the data center is about to move to the stage of decoration and electromechanical installation.
Wudang Cloud Valley Big Data Center is located in Danjiangkou Big Data Industrial Park. The project covers an area of 1,600 mu with a total investment of 3.5 billion yuan. After the project is completed, it will serve the followin roles:
a regional big data center in Shiyan City,
an edge computing center for operators,
an industry application and disaster recovery center,
a disaster recovery center for the Internet and financial industries, and
a computing power data center for Internet companies.
Affected by the long-term low-temperature rain and snow weather since mid-to-late January this year, the construction progress of the project has lagged behind. In response to this situation, the Danjiangkou City Project Service Center immediately set up a special service class for resumption of work and production, to fully serve the elements of the project, improve the progress, and ensure that the company can produce without interruptions.
On February 4, the Wudang Yungu project officially resumed work. On February 7, the construction force at the project site reached the normal level. Since the resumption of work, the company has implemented the front-line duty system for all employees, all staff have been involved in the construction of the project, and night work has been carried out in a timely manner.
On March 1, 2022, the No. 2 data center project successfully completed the roof-topping works.
At present, the pile foundation construction of No. 1-A data center has been completed, the civil construction is about to start, and the field leveling work of the park is progressing in an orderly manner; the field leveling of the 35kV substation has been completed, and the civil engineering and electrical installation units have entered the site for construction.
